When Sharon rang me last year to say she had got engaged I was over the moon for her.  This lady is one of the smiliest happiest people I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet and so deserved to find her prince and fall in love. Better yet she said they’d be getting married at the gorgeous Wasing Park Barn!

After much chatter, laughter and a bit of gossip catching up on corporate days gone by we agreed to meet up half way between us in Royal Windsor to talk about the wedding plans.  To my delight they had already booked the venue so had a date and were to be married at Wasing Park near Reading, near where I used to live. Specifically, they’d be tying the knot at the Wasing Park Barn. Such a stunning venue, so pretty, so light and oozing class and sophistication.

A few months later we met up at Wasing Park Barn to capture a few lovely pre-wedding shots and to ease their nerves in front of my camera.  It’s not uncommon these days that couples don’t like being in front of the camera but after a few minutes walking and having a giggle all those nerves disappear and beautiful natural images are captured.  Sharon & Andy were naturals, the camera loved them.

Pre-wedding photography is such a good idea on many levels, not only to ease wedding photography nerves but for couples to get to know me a little and visa versa.  The images can be used for all sorts of pre-wedding notices like save the date cards or a lovely signature folio for your guests to sign at your reception.  We get the chance to check out your venue and chat through all the finer details and of course which is the most important fact, we have some fun 🙂

Sharon & Andy are no strangers to having fun, their wedding day was full of laughter and giggles, it was a joy to capture.  Below are a few images from their wonderful day and I’m pleased to report that they are both over the moon with the precious moments we captured.  These memories will last a lifetime.

So many memories and so much fun.  The natural smiles on those faces say it all.

I’d also like to mention Laura Anderson who worked all day with me as my second photographer.  Laura is not only a good friend of mine but also a very talented professional photographer.  Thank you Laura, luv ya x

Thank you.
